Bio
Rebecca Howell is an artist based in Wilmington, Delaware. Her studio practice explores the convergence of art, nature, and the human experience through abstract drawing and painting that celebrates mark making. Rebecca earned her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she later oversaw sales in multiple galleries. Her work has been exhibited regionally, including at Abington Art Center, Rehoboth Art League, and Wayne Art Center. She has been the recipient of multiple Artist Opportunity Awards from the Delaware Division of the Arts. After spending nearly 15 years as the Manager of Studio Learning & Creative Engagement at the Delaware Art Museum, Rebecca continues her work as an arts educator and community connector while maintaining her studio practice as a member of the Ladies Art House Collective.
